Ultimate Cat Litter and Ultimate Cat & Kitten Litter is safe for the environment, is chemically inert and absorbs odors on contact.

Ultimate Cat Litter is about 2mm in size on average. This litter was specifically designed with the adult cat in mind. The granules of this cat litter are still small enough to be comfortable on tender paws, but it will absorb more cat urine than any other litter on the market. Because this litter was designed for the adult cat, do not use with kittens under 8 weeks of age.

The Ultimate Cat & Kitten Litter was specifically designed for use by kittens, but can be used just fine for adult cats as well. The Ultimate Cat & Kitten Litter is micronized. That is, the granules are very fine so the product is safe to use with kittens under 8 weeks of age. Should the kitten ingest a granule, it will pass directly through with no harmful side effects.
